Health is a top concern for people throughout their life time. Afterall, without our health, what else have we got? Therefore, shouldn’t health=happiness? What is healthy to one person, may be unhealthy to another- each individual has many factors throughout one’s life which alter where his standard for health lies. Some of these factors include culture, family, community, history of disease or illness and general perception of what health looks like. It can be confusing for people with all the access our society has to products and services that help us increase fitness levels, lose weight, get stronger, reduce cholesterol and live longer. We are so fixated on physical wellness that we forget about the importance for mental, emotional, community and spiritual health. Without a balance, our health is not sustainable. I believe that health and wellness are very important to all people, on all levels. Learning to balance physical, mental and spiritual health is an ongoing process- one I am dedicated to maintaining for both myself and others in my communities. I am here to help you achieve your health goals so you can ” go confidently in the direction of your dreams; live the life you imagined.” (Henry David Thoreau).
